Volkswagen of Bend
The design for the Volkswagen of Bend focused on the brand’s well-known reputation for German engineering and aesthetic elegance. The building’s use stucco panels and large expanses of glass creates an image of a precision-detailed modern ‘open pavilion.’ Large planes of glass reinforce the geometric elegance of the design with a major focus on display of automobiles.
The front-end showroom includes offices, lounge, driver gear, and accessory spaces in a bright, clean atmosphere. The service area includes a parts department, service reception area, offices, vehicle work bays, tool rooms, and car wash area. Site work included fresh landscaping, a showroom plaza, new LED lighting, and maximized use of lot.
