Boise Fire Station 4
Cole Architects, in collaboration with TCA Architecture, designed a new fire station for the City of Boise around sustainable standards based on a newly city-established Green Building Code. The building incorporates a highly efficient exterior envelope, lighting, and mechanical systems. The program includes a rig bay for fire department vehicles, support areas, administrative offices, dorms, living, and dining areas. The new fire station design is a blend of historic and modern elements, allowing the new facility to fit seamlessly into an existing historic neighborhood.
