Northpoint Recovery

The new 48-bed treatment facility for Northpoint Recovery is a much-needed expansion of services available to those suffering from substance abuse and will provide access to a healthcare close to housing, arterial streets, and businesses.  

The single-story building is a mesh of contemporary style softened with traditional materials to create a timeless design that is well-grounded in Northpoint Recovery’s Pacific Northwest roots. Due to the sensitive nature of the building program, special attention has been given to providing light to the interior of the building through clerestory windows that create bright hallways, a welcoming lobby, and a central courtyard.

Because the use is intended for those experiencing profound challenges, the Owner and design team have worked together to create a healing, bright space with all the amenities needed to give those residing within the greatest prospect of success.
